New Training Available: Introduction to Division of Public Health Data!
For the past year, the Division of Public Health (DPH)'s Data Management Advisory Team has been hard at work creating an “Introduction to DPH Data” training. The training is designed to provide a high-level overview of the different types of data used within the Division, and can be used to understand what these data sources are and how they are used. Focus areas include:
- Understanding the types of data used at DPH.
- Data tools available.
- Where to look for more information.
Topics include administrative and survey data, surveillance systems and registries, reporting systems, data resources, and more!
The online training is now available. It requires Flash to play, so please open in Internet Explorer. Feel free to share with others who may benefit from this training.
For any questions on the training or how to request data, please contact the DPH Data Resource Center.
