Blind or Visually Impaired Reports, Objectives, and Services

Over the years, various large-scale research organizations (including the Census Bureau) have used survey questions to find out how many people identify themselves as having health problems, functional limitations, impairments or disabilities.

The following section presents an overview of vision loss and how it affects our society and individuals, in particular.

The section below explains the objectives and services available in Wisconsin through the Office for the Blind and Visually Impaired (OBVI). The "Measures for Success" also presents information about how OBVI assessed the success of its programs.
