Community Forensics - Outpatient Competency Restoration Program

The Outpatient Competency Restoration Program provides treatment in the community to criminal defendants found not competent to stand trial in an attempt to return them to competency so that legal proceedings can resume. The Department of Health Services contracts with Behavioral Health Consultants to manage this program.

This program is available in the following counties: Adams, Brown, Buffalo, Calumet, Columbia, Crawford, Dane, Dodge, Door, Eau Claire, Fond du Lac, Grant, Green, Green Lake, Iowa, Jackson, Jefferson, Juneau, Kenosha, La Crosse, Lafayette, Marathon, Marquette, Manitowoc, Milwaukee, Monore, Outagamie, Ozaukee, Pepin, Portage, Pierce, Racine, Richland, Rock, Sauk, Sheboygan, Trempealeau, Vernon, Walworth, Washington, Waukesha, Waupaca, Waushara, Winnebago, and Wood.
