GTFC: Policy Proposals

The Governor's Task Force on Caregiving concluded its official business on February 25, 2021. The Task Force's final report, which includes all of the recommendations made to the Governor's Office, is available in both English and Spanish.

In the spring of 2020, members of the Governor's Task Force on Caregiving drafted initial policy proposals addressing priorities and charges outlined in Executive Order #11.

The Task Force collected comments on these draft proposals from members of the public, primarily through a public input session on June 29 and a public input survey (PDF) that was available from June 29 through July 14. Public comments were considered as the Task Force finalized their proposals in July and August. On September 10, 2020, the Task Force decided to include 16 proposals in a package of recommendations to be shared with the Governor and other state leaders. A complete report (PDF) detailing the process and recommendations developed by the Task Force was released on September 30.

The following resources are available to help citizens learn about the public input process and the proposals that were considered.
