Connection, collaboration, and community

The Division of Care and Treatment and Services and UW-Milwaukee’s Center for Innovative Transition, Education & Employment are organizing the Wisconsin Substance Use Summit to be the premier state convening where prevention specialists, treatment professionals, recovery advocates, medical professionals, public health leaders, educators, first responders, policymakers, and community leaders come together to share insights on Wisconsin’s substance use crisis and proven solutions for better health and wellness for all state residents.

Continuing education hours will be available.

Agenda

The agenda for the Wisconsin Substance Use Summit is expected to feature two keynote presentations and more than 40 educational sessions August 5-6, 2026. Agenda details will be available when registration opens for this event. 

Everyone who registers for the Wisconsin Substance Use Summit will have access to session recordings and materials for three months after the event at no additional charge.

A series of preconference activities will be held August 3-4, 2026. Information on the preconference activities will be shared when the events are confirmed.

Lodging

Lodging at special rates for this event will be available at several Green Bay hotels, including the Oneida Hotel, Delta by Marriott, Extended Stay Green Bay, Holiday Inn & Suites Green Bay Stadium, Hotel J, Tundra Lodge Resort, and Wingate by Wyndham Green Bay Airport. The cost to stay at these hotels will range from $95 to $128 per night plus tax, if applicable, depending on room type. Information on the room blocks for this event will be shared soon. The special lodging rates will be available until about 30 days before the event.


Note: The in-person venue for this event, the Oneida Hotel, is owned and operated by the Oneida Nation. It is attached to the Oneida Casino. Multiple routes are available to reach the hotel guest rooms and meeting spaces being used for this event. Attendees are not required to navigate through the casino or other gaming areas to participate in this event.
