Wisconsin Trauma Care Training and Resources

Through the efforts of the Regional Trauma Advisory Councils and other external partners like the Society of Trauma Nurses, the American Trauma Society and the American College of Surgeons, we are continually encouraging the advancement of our trauma program through their training and educational offerings.

Upcoming Trainings:

Wisconsin Rural Trauma Medical Director Course: March 16 & 17, 2017

Save the Date! Presented by the Trauma Center Association of America,  this course is intended for rural trauma medical directors throughout Wisconsin, and will be given on multiple days. Trauma Medical Directors are the leaders of the trauma program and are vital to the success of their facilities’ trauma programs.  This one-day class being offered by the Trauma Center Association of America, covers the responsibilities of the Trauma Medical Director, monitoring the care of the trauma patient, identifying areas for improvement, provide education, and work with hospital leadership and physicians to assure the optimum care for the trauma patient.

Trauma Care System Registry Training: March 31 & April 7, 2017

The purpose of this training is to provide a high-level understanding of the ImageTrend Patient Registry.  This training will include a basic overview of the registry dashboard, the patient incident tab, and an introduction to the Report Writer application.  This session is intended for users who have not yet received an introductory training on the ImageTrend Patient Registry.
