Family, Youth and Community Engagement Kudos

Family, youth, and community engagement (FYCE) aims to strengthen programming by responding to participants’ experiences. The Maternal Child Health Program (MCH) is committed to supporting successful partnerships and engagement with family, youth, and community members because this is a key strategy to advance health equity.

2019: Community Action, Inc., serving Rock and Walworth counties, Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP) offered daytime camps to youth ages 11-19 in Beloit, Wisconsin.

This year, after working with many LGBTQ youth, they designed their t-shirt theme of "labels are for cans...not people!"
