Office of Grants Management (OGM)

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) administers a large number of federal and state grants, involving hundreds of millions of dollars and hundreds of external grantees. Given the importance of this work, OGM provides support to DHS staff on administering external grants.

Rural Health Transformation Program

DHS applied for the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) that is due November 5. We received responses to our request for information and met with partners, as required in the notice of funding opportunity, to help inform the application.

The application must align with the required use categories and eligibility criteria defined by the One Big Beautiful Bill Act and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). DHS intends to pursue a comprehensive approach to meet the needs of Wisconsin communities.
