NOTE: Wis. Stat. § 155.20(2)(c)2.c. does not permit a health care agent to consent, on behalf of the principal, to a long-term admission to a nursing home if the principal is diagnosed as having a mental illness or developmental disability at the time of admission.

NOTE: The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services State Operations Manual, Appendix J provides guidance to surveyors related to the provision of specialized services for persons who have an intellectual/developmentally disability as well as the provision of specialized psychiatric rehabilitative services for persons who have a serious mental illness.


The trainings presented on this webpage were designed to provide an overview of PASRR, specialized services, and specialized psychiatric rehabilitative services.
