Do you or someone you know need support for domestic violence? The following organizations can help connect you to local resources and service providers in your area who may be able to assist with safety planning, hospital visits, mental health counseling, shelter, or other needs.
Call, text, or chat
The National Domestic Violence Hotline can be reached through text, call, and live chat and is available in more than 140 languages via interpreter.

Connect with local support
End Domestic Abuse Wisconsin is Wisconsin’s statewide coalition that focuses specifically on domestic abuse and intimate partner violence advocacy and prevention. End Domestic Abuse Wisconsin provides networking and support for victims, survivors, and direct service providers who support people in crisis; technical assistance to victim service providers and community-based organizations; policy development and legislative advocacy; and education and trainings on domestic violence. They connect people in crisis to local service providers and resources.

Wisconsin Coalition Against Sexual Assault (WCASA) is Wisconsin’s statewide coalition that focuses on sexual violence advocacy and prevention. WCASA provides support for victims and survivors of sexual violence; technical assistance to victim service providers and other community-based organizations; legislative advocacy and policy development; and systems change. WCASA can connect people in crisis with local services providers and resources.

The Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ) Resource Center specializes in assisting victims and witnesses of crimes, including intimate partner violence. Information for victims and their families can be found on their website.
Connect with culturally specific statewide resources
Black and Brown Womyn’s Power Coalition (BBWPC) is a statewide organization that focuses on providing culturally specific support for victims and survivors, direct service providers, and other organizations around sexual and domestic violence.

The Hmong Family Strengthening Helpline is available by call or text at 877-740-4292.
The Waking Women Healing Institute is a non-profit organization led by Indigenous women and survivors, dedicated to providing culturally-based healing and support services to Indigenous survivors of violence and families of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women/Persons (MMIW/P). They also provide key technical assistance to Wisconsin's Tribal communities as part of the state's domestic violence prevention efforts.

American Indians Against Abuse (AIAA) is a Tribal domestic violence and sexual assault coalition serving the 11 federally recognized Tribal governments, service providers, and programs in Wisconsin. AIAA provides support and technical assistance to strengthen the response to victims of abuse in Tribal communities. AIAA provides domestic violence and sexual assault advocacy training, awareness, and collaborations designed to be reflective of and have relevance to local, regional, and national indigenous people and culture. Resources for service providers, clinicians, and allies
Wisconsin has four statewide, antiviolence coalitions that serve as the statewide experts in advocacy, prevention, training and education, and legislative and policy advocacy for all forms of intimate partner and sexual violence. They do not provide direct services. These organizations include:
