Keep getting helpful emails and texts

Reminder: If you get a text or email message from Wisconsin DHS about your communication preferences, please respond by July 13, 2026. Follow the instructions in the message by that date to continue getting texts and emails.

BadgerCare Plus provides health insurance benefits to people ages 0-64. The only way to know if you can enroll in BadgerCare Plus is to apply.

Use this table as a guide

Monthly income levels are a big part of determining who can get BadgerCare Plus. This table shows the income limits for BadgerCare Plus. The limits are based on federal poverty level (FPL).

You can use this table as a guide, but the best way to see if you can get coverage is to apply online today. You can also apply by phone or in person at your agency. We recommend calling the agency ahead of time to make an appointment.

Here’s another good reason to apply. At the same time, we’ll see if you can get other state benefits. With one application, you might be able to get help with food, housing, child care, and more.
