Type

Initial, Renewal

Description

An RCAC certification or registration is for facilities where five or more adults live that consists of independent apartments. Services include room and board, up to 28 hours per week of supportive care, personal care, and nursing services.

Duration

Certified RCAC—One year.

Registered RCAC—The statement of registration does not expire, unless the RCAC's registration is terminated or revoked.

Fees

Certified RCAC—$445 certification fee, plus $7.60 per apartment unit per year.

Registered RCAC—There is no fee for RCAC registration.

Instructions

All RCACs must be registered or certified. For RCAC certification or registration application details, view Opening an RCAC. You must complete the application process within six months of submitting a request.
