Climate and Health Videos

Climate change impacts every part of our lives including the environment, the economy, and our health. The Climate and Health Program has created four, short videos that highlight Wisconsinites experiences and impacts from climate change.

Hear the real stories of Wisconsinites impacted by climate change: a farmer impacted by heat, a family impacted by air quality, and a business owner impacted by flooding. The overview video highlights climate change will continue to impact our health, and what we can do about it. These videos were developed in partnership with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, the Wisconsin Office of Environmental Justice, and the Wisconsin Office of Sustainability and Clean Energy.

Climate change impacts every part of our lives including the environment, the economy, and our health. Heat

Hear from a local farmer as he shares his story on how heat has impacted his health, the health of his employees, and livelihood. This video also shares what you can do to stay safe when extreme heat hits. Learn more about heat and health.

Air quality

Hear from a parent and her child as they explain the health impacts they feel daily from poor air quality and the steps they take to stay safe when the air quality is bad. You’ll also hear from students working to better understand local air quality through the Love My Air program and the actions they encourage their community to take to stay safe. Flooding

Hear from a Wisconsin business owner on her experiences with flooding, the physical health risks to her and her employees, and the mental health strain flooding caused.
