BadgerCare Plus: Enrollment Data
Opt-in to get helpful text and email messages
Between June 22 and July 13, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) sent Medicaid and FoodShare members text and email messages asking them to confirm they still wanted to get texts and emails.
If you did not respond, you have been opted out of most DHS texts and emails. If you respond to an old text, you will receive the message “the keyword you specified was not recognized.” You can still opt-in to get texts and emails by logging in to ACCESS (ACCESS in Spanish) and selecting Update Contact Info.
We provide data about the number of BadgerCare Plus members. Reports are broken down into monthly member counts by county/Tribal nation and statewide. Reports cover data for the past six months. Data includes children (ages 18 and younger) and adults (ages 19 and older).
County and Tribal nation enrollment reports
These reports show total BadgerCare Plus county and Tribal nation enrollment counts. Adult and child members are further defined by their enrollment category.
The data for some counties includes members who don't live in that county. County data is based on the county agency that serves the member. The member might not live in the same county as the agency they work with.
State enrollment reports
These reports show total BadgerCare Plus enrollment counts for the state of Wisconsin. This is determined through a count of all members at county and tribal agencies.
Adults and children are further defined by their enrollment category.
