Oral Health Program: Grants to Dental Clinics

Increasing access to care grant funding

In 2023, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) awarded $5.1 million in grants to 13 non-federally qualified health center safety net dental clinics to increase access to dental care in our state. Grant awards total $1,700,000 annually and range from $59,000 to $150,000 per clinic over three years. Grantees serve a significant number of Wisconsin residents who are low-income uninsured and/or underinsured. In addition to serving their communities, grantees will participate as work sites for the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development Youth Apprenticeship program. Listed below are the dental access grantees for state fiscal years 2024-2026.
