Birth to 3 Program: SAS

SAS Institute has developed the department’s new Enterprise Data Warehouse/Data Analytics and Reporting (EDW/DAR) Solution, referred to as SAS. The Birth to 3 Program data comes from the Program Participation System (PPS).

For information on using SAS and accessing the pre-built reports, reference the Wisconsin Birth to 3 Program Guide to SAS, P-03567 (PDF). You can also either watch the January 2024 training recording (opens external video) or view the January 2024 training slides.

How to access SAS

To access SAS, go to https://prod.widhs.cloudanalytics.sas.com/SASDrive/.

Note: SAS can only be accessed from an approved IP address. You must be on an approved network (either physically or by a virtual private network or VPN) to access the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) data warehouse through SAS. Please contact the SAS helpdesk at widhs-helpdesk@sas.com if you are not able to connect.

Recommendation: Save the link to access SAS as a favorite to get into SAS. To do this, right click on the link to access SAS and choose copy link. Open your browser and enter the link into the address bar. Save it as a favorite for that browser. Do not save the “login page” (prod.widhs.cloudanalytics.sas.com/SASLogon/login) as your favorite. You cannot access SAS from that webpage.
