About accreditation
Accreditation means the HMOs meet certain requirements related to health care quality. The Wisconsin Department of Health Services requires all HMOs to have two accreditations from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA):

- Either Health Equity Accreditation, Health Equity Accreditation Plus, or Multicultural Health Care Distinction
