Birth to 3 Program: Annual Performance Report

Share Your Input

Wisconsin is updating the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards (WMELS). We’re inviting parents, caregivers, and professionals who support children from birth to first grade to complete a 15-minute survey to help shape what’s included and how it’s delivered.

Take the statewide survey

Every state must report each year to the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Education about their program performance. The report is also made public. It details the performance of the state under specific measures identified in the State Performance Plan.

The Secretary of the Department of Education must decide each year whether states are meeting the requirements of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act. That decision is based on information from the Annual Performance Report along with other data.

Reports are available on the Office of Special Education Programs’ website. You can read the three most recent Annual Performance Reports and determination status.
