An Inpatient Program (Adult) means a county operated inpatient unit, general hospital psychiatric unit, or private psychiatric hospital whose primary objective is to provide care and intensive treatment for the mentally ill.
Up to 2 years with an annual fee.
The Division of Quality Assurance sends desk or site renewal information at least 60 days prior to expiration. These materials are to be returned within 30 days of expiration. The following applications are required for a Mental Health, Inpatient Program (Adult) recertification:
- Mental Health Inpatient Initial Certification Application - DHS 61.71 and 61.79, F-00547
- Behavioral Health Services Recertification Application - DHS 94 Patients Rights and Resolution of Patient Grievances DHS 92 Confidentiality of Treatment Records, F-00276*
* These should be completed once per certificate annually.
