Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program
Worried about the federal government shutdown?
DHS is closely monitoring the current federal government shutdown. Our goal is to keep the public informed, especially our WIC participants who receive vital nutrition assistance. Even though the federal government has shutdown, Wisconsin WIC is currently available. At this time, you can use your WIC benefits, attend WIC appointments, and do not need to take any action. If there are changes to the availability of WIC funding and benefits, we will let you know immediately. Contact your local WIC agency with any questions.
The Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (Senior FMNP) provides older adults with fresh, locally grown produce, while supporting Wisconsin farmers, markets, and farmstands.
