FOCUS 2024 Conference

We're getting ready for our 24th annual FOCUS conference. This two-day event is for Division of Quality Assurance (DQA) staff and health care providers. DQA hosts the event, along with other providers and provider association representatives. Presenters will talk about a range of health care topics.

How do I register for the conference?

Registration opens in late summer. Please check back here for updates and links to registration.

When is the conference?

The 2024 conference lasts two days. This year, it will be in person November 20-21, 2024.

What should I expect?

  • The conference will start at 8 a.m. and will end at 3:45 p.m. We will have a keynote and three breakout sessions each day.
  • Exhibitor booths available both days.

Where is the conference?

The conference will be at the KI Convention Center in Green Bay.

Who will present?

A keynote and approximately 30 presenters each day of the conference. Registration and agenda will be available on the 2024 Focus Conference webpage in early September. 

How much does it cost to attend?

Registration fees will be $250 until November 11th, and $300 after November 11th. This includes continental breakfast, lunch, and snacks during breaks.

How do I become an exhibitor?

In-person exhibitor registration will open in early August. The registration fee of $600 includes two in-person exhibitor representatives, two conference registrations, exhibit space, table, electricity, wireless internet access, and virtual exhibitor space in Whova, our conference management app. The conference also offers a virtual-only exhibit opportunity via the Whova app. Contact us for information about in-person or virtual exhibit space: dhsdqafocus@dhs.wisconsin.gov.

Continuing education hours

Attending the conference in-person will award continuing education credits to social workers, nursing home administrators, CBRF and AFH staff.
