EMS Reprimand and Warning Letters
The information provided on this page is intended to provide public notice of enforcement actions taken by the Department of Health Services (DHS), Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Section in accordance with Wis. Stat. ch. 256 and Wis. Admin. Code DHS ch. 110.
- In accordance with Wis. Admin. Code DHS § 110.55, DHS shall post a copy or summary of the warning letter, which does not identify the recipient of the letter, on the Department’s EMS website.
- In accordance with Wis. Admin. Code DHS § 110.56, DHS shall post the reprimand, identifying the violator and describing the violation, on DHS’s EMS webpages.

The EMS section investigates complaints in accordance with Wisconsin rules and statutes. DHS takes into consideration facts and circumstances of individual investigations to determine what, if any, enforcement action is appropriate.
